1957 Fender Stratocaster Sunburst Non-trem SN# 17110
This ’57 Strat is in Excellent condition. It weighs 6.4 lbs.
The guitar originally came with a 1957 red lining tweed case, but that was misplaced. It currently is being sold in this 1958 gold lining tweed case.
This is a really sweet Strat. It’s very comfortable, very light, and very easy to play.
It has a slight v maple neck, like most ’57s have.
The guitar is in such excellent condition, that the original frets still have plenty of life left in them.
’57 has always been a very popular year for maple neck strats, not only because of Eric Clapton’s “Brownie”, but also because they combined a lot of the ’50s elements into one great guitar. This particular one is a very fine, clean, and light example.
