Here we have an uncirculated 1958 Gibson Les Paul Standard, one of the earlier serial numbers “8 5403”.  All original expect for the tuners. Original shrunken tuners were kept and are in the case and were replaced with era correct replacements.  Nice faded color on a top with nice birds eye maple with a beautiful patina. No snake bites. Under the guard it shows bright red. Note this neck pickup sounds extremely warm and clear, one of the better neck pickups I have heard on a burst. Has a slightly bigger neck profile on this burst hence the name “Cave Man Burst” (Named by Drew Berlin).  Will be featured in the new Burst Believers book which is coming out soon.
