This guitar was mine in 2008 when I sold it to my friend; a bass player. When I bought and sold the guitar, it had a Bigsby installed. It now has the original stop tailpiece back on the guitar. I feel this was a factory stop tail because of the original ground wire that’s tunneled to the stop tail stud sleeve. The small holes from the Bigsby can be seen in the pictures attached. The Bigsby and original pickup covers come with the guitar. I just went through the guitar with Jim Foote, my luthier from Music Works to verify the authenticity and this guitar is an original correct 1959 Gibson Les Paul Standard Sunburst. The big round neck is incredibly comfortable. The light weight and balance, as well as the high output pickups, make this a great playing and sounding guitar. The color fade and the excellent condition make for a beautiful traditional popular 59 Burst look.
The guitar weighs 8.8 LBS and it comes with its original brown case.
