1964 Gibson ES-335 TDC Cherry Red (SN# 69514)

This is a very beautiful example of a 1964 Gibson ES-335 TDC. The cherry color is incredibly vibrant and not faded.

It is in all original very good condition, 8.5.

It shows light buckle wear on the back of the body, and play wear on the back of the neck. The neck is extremely comfortable to play because of this.

Comes with factory Bigsby, w/ “Custom Made” plaque and factory stop tail studs under the “Custom Made” plaque.

The neck pickup measures at 9.3k ohms; the bridge pickup measures at 8.4k ohms.

The original factory frets have plenty of life left in them, and it does not need to be refretted.

Little to no pitting.

The tuners are original, and it has never been modified for aftermarket tuners.

It has a 1 3/4″ nut width.

It has exceptional resonance and tone.

It weighs 9.0 lbs.

The label is hand-written in cursive, as opposed to being stamped. The serial number on this guitar is very close to Clapton’s serial number (67473).

This guitar is very similar in both feel and tone to Eric Clapton’s 335. I can say this with confidence, as I was tasked with purchasing Clapton’s 335 when I was the buyer for my former company.

Comes with a non-original 90′s brown case.
