1968 Gibson Les Paul Gold Top SN#531209

Very Good condition
This is a very popular model because 1968 was the first year Gibson reintroduced the Les Paul.
It has the earliest features including the small head stock, the dot over the “i” on the Gibson logo, a big, chunky one-piece neck, and a one-piece body. It has two P-90s and a tune-o-matic bridge. The bridge saddles and the stop-tailpiece have been replaced with period correct parts. It has no cracks, repairs, or refinishing.

This particular one is a light 9.4 lbs. It plays extremely well and sounds great. It is a beautiful example of an early ’68 Les Paul Gold Top with all the desirable appointments.

It comes with its original rectangular case, in excellent condition.
