The visual combination of the mop top “Beatle” haircut and the Cuban Heel “Beatle” boots was enough to drive the nation crazy, but it was the appearance of the Gretsch Country Gentleman that would be forever intertwined in the minds of aspiring musicians everywhere.
This particular Gretsch (SN# 48381) has the exact same appointments as George Harrison’s, including the walnut finish, gold hardware, two Filtertrons, and dual mutes with red felt.
The neck was professionally reset, as can be seen under a black light.
Because of the professional neck set, it plays perfectly with low action.
It comes with its original gray case.
