The Gibson ES-175D has for years been Gibson’s most popular full-depth archtop guitar. Originally developed as a laminated-construction, less expensive alternative to Gibson’s Super 400 the model morphed into a “jazz guitar” that easily crossed over into many varied musical styles.

The ES-175D (“D” for dual-pickup model) turned out as a great jazz archtop for players like Joe Pass, but was so versatile it could cross over into the rock world in the hands of Rockabilly pioneer Scotty Moore (with Elvis Presley), Prog-Rock icon Steve Howe of Yes and punk-rocker Billie Jo Armstrong of Green Day.

This ES-175D is in excellent condition with nice color and grain showing very little (if any) color fade. Please call for additional information, additional pictures and pricing.
